About me:
My name is Mary Devine.
I'm a California native who spent much of my teens split between the glamor of Los Angeles, California and my Father's ranch in Eminence Missouri, where I helped my family raise horses.
With a Great Grandmother who was full blooded Cherokee, named Lone Feather Wolf, and a family history made up of some of the original American pioneers, I have an affinity for all things American West and its proud history and culture.
Based in Malibu, California for 30 years, I'd often find vintage photographs to use as inspiration for my paintings, including Western heroes but also portraits of glamorous, contemporary icons.
I currently split my time between my home in Santa Barbara, California and the ranch in Missouri, and can occasionally be spotted with my husband, dashing back and forth on either Highway 40 or Highway 70, depending on the weather!
